Samuel Acosta

Musician, Trumpeter, Teacher

Samuel Acosta has been playing trumpet since 2007, starting in public school in Leander, TX. After graduation in 2015, he pursued an education in Trumpet Performance at Texas Tech University where he graduated in 2020. He is now completing his Masters in Trumpet Performance at UT Austin where he will continue straight through to pursue is DMA in the same field.

Samuel has had countless performance opportunities freelancing in Lubbock and Austin, including chamber work, solo work, bugle calls, and many more. He also teaches trumpet privately in the Round Rock Independent School District. He is always looking to expand his studio, his collaborative efforts, and his general knowledge in music.
